MAHA BODHI SOCIETY OF INDIA ANNOUNCES 128th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TO BE HELD ON 7th SEPTEMBER, 2025
Kolkata, India — The Maha Bodhi Society of India (MBSI), a leading institution in the preservation and promotion of Buddhist values and heritage, will convene its 128th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 7th September, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Buddhagaya Centre of the Society.
All Life Members of the Society are cordially invited to participate in the AGM, which will involve important discussions and decisions pertaining to the future of the organization. Members attending the meeting are expected to confirm their presence by sending an email to the MBSI Headquarters, mentioning their Life Membership number, no later than 20th August, 2025.
The audited Statement of Accounts and Balance Sheet for the year ended 31st March, 2025 will be available for review from 19th August, 2025 during office hours at the MBSI Headquarters.
Members requiring accommodation at the Buddhagaya Centre for the AGM are advised to communicate their arrival and departure details well in advance to the following email address: mbsibuddhagaya@gmail.com. Accommodation and food will be provided only for registered Members from 6th to 8th September, 2025, against a minimum donation. Please note that accommodation will not be available for accompanying relatives or friends.
The Society humbly requests all attendees to maintain decorum during the meeting and to follow the procedure of seeking permission before placing any views or suggestions.
